- My Focuses: Cartoonist, Conceptual Artist, General Artist, Illustrator, Painter
- What I do: I'm a Belgian illustrator, portraitist and photographer. I mainly studied Journalism and secondly Graphic Arts. I was born in Abidjan, Ivory Coast in 1983. I currently live and work in Brussels.
I'm OPEN FOR BUSINESS. Feel free to contact me anytime at heinebenjamin@hotmail.com for any suggestions or if you wish to use one of my illustrations. Please, DO NOT use my photos/paintings/drawings for commercial purposes without my explicit consent. Thank you.
Most of the recent works I have posted on Artician are available in full quality, full size and in high resolution. Feel free to use and publish them in a positive way. BUT please remember they are not stock images, they are works of art, either political or not. I've spent a huge amount of time and energy for each of them. So don't forget to mention me as the author.
I'm a supporter of a total freedom of expression. I'm also a supporter of free access for people to culture and arts. I believe that a subtle combination of words and images is the key to a successful communication.
I have collaborated with several printed magazines and papers, such as ‘La Libre Belgique’ (Belgium), ‘European Voice’ (Belgium), 'Rolling Stone' (Germany), 'Shambala Sun' (USA), ‘Acque & Terre’ (Italia), ‘Le Monde Diplomatique’, Polish edition (Poland), ‘Zaman’ (Turkey), ‘The Copenhagen Post’ (Denmark), ‘Yeni Akrep‘ (Turkey), ‘Gavroche’ (Thailand), ‘Europa In De Wereld’ (Holland), ‘Pulse’ (Great Britain), ‘Fucid bulletin’ (Belgium), ‘Arabad’ (Lebanon), ‘As-Safir’ (Lebanon), ‘Al Baath’ (Syria)...
I have also worked with many online references. I created book covers and illustrations for renowned authors. I also made CD covers, posters, and t-shirts designs.
In my painting, I've been deeply influenced by German Expressionism, Belgian Surrealism, American Pop Art and Social Realism.
So far, I've exhibited my creations in Belgium, Great Britain, Canada, USA and Palestine.
