I wouldn't call this a masterpiece. i'm not saying take it down or anything like that, just noting that the first commenter called it such. by all means, do what you do & don't stand for censorship and all hose types of things. i can see how & why this piece is controversial but i have to disagree on the masterpiece bit. i'm not trying to be rude or conceited or anything, everything ive posted is pretty much crap. also its kinda funny the other poster ~bluewaters~ censored themselves in their comment.
either way i'm not trying to be an asshole or anything. just jumping in the discussion.

Censured and censored!

From reading quickly I wonder if a staff member took offence and acted accordingly (problem with art, specially of the blatantly political variety, it's subjective). Unfortunately dA is enough of a borg to be able to have one law for the officers, one for the gentlemen, hopefully somethiing that won't happen here.

I've oftten wondered if God was sitting pleased that humans finally invened condoms after the whole Sodom and Gomorah debacle and is cursing the church for desperately clinging to outdated beliefs rather than paying attention and listening to what it has to say now.

People on DA really don't understand art. I mean, I enjoy DeviantArt, and there's some really cool people on that site. Plus, some good art! Some people there just don't understand expressng yourself in art.

I am a Protestant Christian, and I love this piece. I truly get the message of how Christ is portrayed nowadays in society. I think people should really understand messages instead of being terrified of nudity, sexual themes, etc.

Overall, great picture. Beautiful work.
